My assistant says it isn't authorised
Your sign-in has expired or was disconnected. In Claude or ChatGPT, reconnect OpenRoles from the connector settings. If you use a personal token, check it hasn’t expired or been revoked under Account → Agents, and make a new one if needed.
I don't see "Add custom connector" or developer mode
Both depend on your Claude or ChatGPT plan. Check that app’s help pages for which plans include custom connectors. Any other MCP app works too.
My assistant answers without using OpenRoles
Make sure OpenRoles is switched on in the chat’s tools menu, then name it: “Use OpenRoles to find…”.
A tool says my pass has ended
Once your pass ends, every tool is refused, reading included, until you have a plan again. Your assistant will show you the pricing link. Your resumes stay on OpenRoles, and downloading them is free.
Scoring says that's a lot of runs in one hour
Scoring has an hourly limit, shared with the editor. Nothing was charged. Wait a few minutes and ask again.
The extension doesn't offer to fill a form
Check you’re signed in to OpenRoles in the same browser and have at least one saved resume. If the form is on a company’s own site, click the toolbar icon, or right-click and choose Fill this page from OpenRoles.
Some fields were left blank
That’s on purpose. The extension only fills what your resume or saved answers can back up. Fill the gap yourself, or save an answer so it’s filled next time.
I lost my personal token
OpenRoles can’t show it again. Revoke it under Account → Agents and make a new one.
Something else is wrong
Write to us from Contact. A person reads every message and replies.
