Use OpenRoles
Applying with the extension
The OpenRoles extension for Chrome fills a company’s application form from the resume you pick. It never submits. You read what it filled and press Submit yourself.

- Sign inSign in to OpenRoles in the same browser. The extension uses the website’s session, so there is no second login.
Fill an application
- Start from a jobOn a role in Jobs, choose the resume to send and click Apply via OpenRoles. The company’s form opens. You can also open a form directly.
- Confirm the resumeThe extension asks “Which resume do you want to use?” It picks a version you made for this job if there is one, and otherwise your most recently saved resume. You can also choose Tailor for this job here.
- Fill it inIt fills your details and work history, attaches the resume as a PDF, and uses your saved answers for questions a resume doesn’t cover.
- Check it and submitFields it couldn’t fill are left blank and highlighted. Fix anything, then press the form’s own Submit button. The application moves to Applications on its own.
Where it works
The extension recognises the application forms most companies use and offers to fill them as soon as the form loads. On any other site, click the toolbar icon, or right-click and choose Fill this page from OpenRoles.
It doesn’t work with LinkedIn Easy Apply, which restricts accounts that automate it, or with Naukri’s one-click apply, which has no form to fill.
The extension copies; it never writes. Anything your resume and saved answers can’t back up is left blank for you. It never answers disability, veteran or ethnicity questions, and fills gender only if you have saved an answer for it.
