Tracking applications

Applications is your tracker. Each application has a stage, the resume you sent, how long you’ve been waiting, and a next action.

How rows get there

  • Automatically, when you submit a form the extension filled.
  • From your assistant, when you say you applied somewhere: “I applied to the Razorpay SDE-2 role today with my backend resume.”
  • By hand in Applications, with Log jobs I applied to.

If you log the same company and role twice, OpenRoles updates the existing row rather than adding a copy.

Keeping it current

Tell your assistant what happened and it moves the stage, notes a follow-up, or sets the next action. Every change is kept in the application’s history, marked “via agent” when your assistant made it.
