Personal tokens

A personal token is a password made for one app. Make a separate token for each app or script, so you can switch one off without touching the others.

Make a token

1. Open Account → AgentsSign in to OpenRoles and go to Account → Agents.
2. Choose Create tokenGive it a name you’ll recognise later, like “Cursor on my laptop”. Pick what it may do (read, write, ai) and when it expires: never, in 30 days or in 90 days.
3. Copy it straight awayTokens start with orl_pat_. OpenRoles shows it once and stores only a scrambled copy, so it can’t show it to you again. If you lose it, revoke it and make a new one.

Revoke a token

Under Account → Agents, each token shows its name, its first characters, when it was created, when it was last used and when it expires. Revoke stops it working from the next request.
