Getting started
OpenRoles documentation
OpenRoles gives you a tailored resume for every job and remembers every application for you. Run it from Claude, ChatGPT or any AI app that supports MCP: find high-quality roles, get a version of your resume written for each one, and let the Chrome extension fill the form. Where you applied, for which role and with which resume is logged automatically.
The four parts
- The connection. OpenRoles runs an MCP server. Once you connect it, your assistant works inside your OpenRoles account, as you.
- Jobs. A board of high-quality engineering, product and design roles across India, at Jobs. You can browse it yourself or ask your assistant to search it.
- Versions. Your saved resumes. Keep one for each kind of role you’re applying for, and score each one.
- The extension and Applications. The extension fills application forms from the resume you choose. Every application lands in Applications, your tracker.
How a typical week looks
You ask your assistant what’s new for you. It searches the board, checks which of your resumes fits each role, and suggests a few. You open one, click Apply via OpenRoles, and the extension fills the form. You read it over and press Submit. The application shows up in Applications on its own. When a company replies, you tell your assistant and it updates the stage.
