Skills mentioned in the posting
Build technology where every nanosecond matters.
At Graviton, software isn't just a tool that supports trading. It is the infrastructure behind every research breakthrough, every trading decision and every competitive advantage.
As a Software Engineer, you'll work on systems where performance, reliability and precision matter at an extraordinary scale. You'll partner closely with software engineers and quantitative researchers to build technology that processes enormous volumes of market data, powers quantitative research and supports live trading.
You'll take on problems that don't have obvious answers — from designing high-performance systems and distributed infrastructure to eliminating bottlenecks measured in microseconds and building tools that make our researchers and engineers faster.
Your work will go into production, be measured against real-world performance and have a direct impact on how our trading systems operate.
If you enjoy solving hard engineering problems, understanding systems at a deep level and pushing technology to its limits, you'll feel right at home.
You'll work across the engineering stack that powers our quantitative research and trading platforms.
The problems are hard. The systems are real. And the impact is measurable.
At Graviton, you'll encounter engineering problems where traditional solutions aren't always good enough.
You'll be expected not just to write code, but to understand the system, challenge assumptions and find better ways to solve the problem.
At Graviton, engineers are trusted with meaningful problems early.
You'll work closely with experienced engineers and quantitative researchers, receive thoughtful technical feedback and have the opportunity to own projects end-to-end.
Understand the problem → design the solution → build it → measure it → improve it → take it to production.
You'll participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical design sessions, while learning from people who have spent years building high-performance systems.
Your impact isn't measured by how much code you write. It's measured by what that code enables.
We're looking for exceptional engineers who enjoy building things, understanding how systems work and solving problems that require deep technical thinking.
Prior experience with high-performance computing, distributed systems, Linux, networking or quantitative trading is valuable, but we care more about your ability to learn, reason and solve difficult problems.
Beyond technical skills, we're interested in how you think.
Why Graviton?
Real Engineering Problems: Work on systems where performance, reliability and correctness have a direct impact on trading.
Exceptional People: Learn alongside some of the strongest software engineers and quantitative researchers in the industry.
Technology at the Edge: Work with high-performance computing, low-latency networks, distributed systems and advanced engineering infrastructure.
Meaningful Ownership: Take responsibility for real systems and projects from design through production.
Flat by Design: There are no layers between a good idea and the people who can build it. Ideas matter more than titles.
Rewards That Match Impact: Competitive compensation with performance-driven growth and the opportunity to build a long-term career at one of the world's most technically demanding trading firms.
About Graviton Research Capital: Founded in 2014, Graviton Research Capital has grown from a small team of researchers and technologists into a global quantitative trading firm.
Our success is built on exceptional people, rigorous research and world-class engineering.
Across specialized trading teams, quantitative researchers and engineers work together to solve some of the most challenging problems in financial markets. Teams operate with significant autonomy while sharing a common ambition: to continuously push the boundaries of mathematics, technology and quantitative research.
We believe that exceptional outcomes come from giving exceptional people the freedom to think deeply, move quickly and build things that matter.
Build What Moves Markets.
